📋 Step-by-Step Guide (5 Steps)
Clear and Prep the Oven Cavity
Remove all oven racks, side rails, and thermometer probes from inside the oven. Use a dry microfiber cloth to sweep out loose crumbs and burnt char from the bottom floor into a dustpan or trash bag. Lay an old towel or plastic sheet on the floor directly beneath the open oven door to catch drips.

Apply Cleaner and Seal with Cling Wrap
Apply a thick, even layer of oven cleaning paste or gel across all enamel walls, the base, and the inner glass door using a paintbrush or sponge. Immediately press sheets of plastic cling wrap directly against the wet cleaner on all surfaces to lock in moisture. Smooth the plastic with gloved hands so no cleaner is exposed to air, then let it dwell for 1 to 2 hours.

Shave the loosened burnt grease into concentrated piles, wiping the blade on paper towels between passes.
